ROCKET APPARTAMENTO SERIE NERA ESPRESSO MACHINE

The Appartamento's design is exactly what you would expect from a Rocket: clean, sleek and cured to the smallest detail in pure Rocket fashion. With clear and easy-to-use instrumentation, this machine is not only good to look at, but also incredibly functional: every knob and lever is right where it should be. Inside, you have a 1.8 Liter copper boiler with a heat exchanger which allows you to brew your espresso and froth the milk at the same time. The E61 group head allows not only impressive temperature stability but also a 1-second pre-infusion system for a better extraction. Like the bigger machines in the lineup, the Appartamento also features a hot water wand to prepare other types of hot drinks at all times. On the side you will find the machine's most distinguishable feature, 12 circles cut through the panel and fill in either white or copper. The feet in the Appartamento are also much shorter compared to other Rocket models which makes the overall machine much shorter allowing you to fit it in the smallest spaces.

Pros

Design: no matter what side you look at this coffee machine, the design is the main reason you will want one in your kitchen. We also love the circled themes on the side panels which is a unique feature to this machine.

Compactness: the name Appartamento (Italian for Apartment) is the place this machine is aimed for. This machine will provide you with all that you need to prepare your wonderful daily espressos & Cappuccinos without sacrificing space in your kitchen.

Things to Consider

Cup Rail: the standard cup rail fitted on top of the machine is in plastic and might not look as premium as the rest of the coffee machine. We recommend upgrading to the stainless steel cup rail which fits perfectly with the rest of the machine.

Careful with Chrome: being entirely covered in shiny stainless steel panels a small scratch or dirt can be easily seen. To avoid that we always recommend cleaning the coffee machine with a micro-fiber cloth.
